R.I.P grandad i love you and miss you.On the 16th of febuary 2001 he found out off a docter he had developed lung cancer. He was with my mum (jane) and my aunty (liza). they sat thinking for hours what to do. My grandad looked around at my aunty and mum back and forth looking at one person then the other. He said im going to get you some money to live off i promise and use must look after each other. After a cople of months of my mum and aunty caring for him cooking,cleaning,bathing &+ caring for him. He sadly passed away on march 27th 2001.
All the family got told and funeral arrangements were made straight away. None of his grandchildren excepting one hannah who was 12 at the time. everyday she wanted to go to the hospital to see him but my mum wouldnt let her he was to ill and not in a state to seeing his family upset. His funeral was on the 4th april and all his family went to show there respects. We will never forget the way he yous'to laugh and joke at every word we said we will love him forever know matter what he did. and if i could wish upon a star i would wish to see for just one more day. i see your face in my head and say why? why? why my grandad? why not somebody elses ?!.. but know i see only the best and the luckyist people die and go to heaven and then watch upon you to make sure your ok and safe. Know i am starting to think of all the goo memorys instead of bad ones i think of how he used to call me his little pricess and buy me whatever i wanted no matter what anybody said he took me everywhere and did eveything with me i just wish i could spend one day seeing him and speaking to him. We will all love you and miss you forever grandad love from Your Little Princess Beth :) xx
Loving husband to Jane, Brother to Late Maureen And Dennis(who died a year later in april 2002) Father to Jane,Liza,Jim and David(only 12 when he died), Grandfather to Hannah,Beth,Rebecca,Patrick,Norman,Harry although he never met then as there only babies know Alice and Shawn. And Great-grandfather to Kyra-jade. Also uncle,cousin,Nephew and friend to many :D you will be missed and dont you forget it !

Letter From Heaven.
When tomorrow starts without me,
and I'm not there to see;
If the sun should rise and find your eyes,
all filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry,
the way you did today,
while thinking of the many things,
we didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me,
as much as I love you,
and each time that you think of me,
I know you'll miss me too;

that an Angel came and called my name,
and took me by the hand,
and said my place was ready,
in heaven far above,
and that I'd have to leave behind,
all those I dearly love.
But as I turned to walk away,
a tear fell from my eye,

I had so much to live for,
so much yet to do,
it seemed almost impossible,
that I was leaving you.
I thought of all the yesterdays,
the good ones and the bad,
I thought of all the love we shared,
and all the fun we had.
If I could relive yesterday,
just even for awhile,
I'd say goodbye and kiss you
and maybe see you smile.
But then I fully realized,
that this could never be,
for emptiness and memories,
would take the place of me.
And when I thought of worldly things,
I might miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you, and when I did,
my heart was filled with sorrow.
But when I walked through heaven's gates,
I felt so much at home.
When God looked down and smiled at me,
from His great golden throne,
He said, "This is eternity,
and all I've promised you".
Today for life on earth is past,
but here it starts anew.
I promise no tomorrow,
but today will always last,
and since each day's the same day,
there's no longing for the past.
But you have been so faithful,
so trusting and so true.
Though there were times you did some things,
you knew you shouldn't do.
But you have been forgiven
and now at last you're free.
So won't you take my hand
and share my life with me?
So when tomorrow starts without me,
don't think we're far apart,
for every time you think of me,
I'm right here, in your heart.
